CCTV appeal over Bicester theft

Police in Bicester have released CCTV pictures of two people they want to speak to about a theft in the town.

The incident took place between 10.30am and 11.45am on Thursday 15 February in Bicester Town Centre.

The victim, a 72-year-old man, was shopping alone when it is believed he was pickpocketed. The victim’s bank card was later used to withdraw funds from a nearby cash point.

Investigating Officer Pauline Heilbron, based at Bicester police station said: “We believe that the two individuals in the CCTV images could have vital information that may help our investigation.

“We would like to speak to these individuals, or anyone that knows them, to contact us on 101, quoting reference: 43180048828.
