Police patrol Jubilee celebrations

Monday, June 4th 2012 10:30

There will be more police on the streets of Oxfordshire and Northamptonshire this Bank Holiday in the hope Jubilee celebrations will remain peaceful.

Officers will be patrolling town centres and also street parties to crack down on any criminal or anti-social behaviour.

But both Thames Valley and Northamptonshire Police have told Banbury Sound they aren't expecting any major trouble and celebrations will likely remain peaceful - much like they did for last year's Royal Wedding.
