Community money expected from Helmdon windfarm project
Developers behind plans for a new wind farm near Helmdon are looking for ideas on how to spend a 700 thousand pound community fund.
Broadview Energy's proposals for 5 turbines on land North of Welsh Lane were approved at the end of last week despite concerns over noise and visual impact from some residents nearby.
The plans were originally turned down by South Northamptonshire but the decision was reversed by the Planning Inspectorate.
The developers hope to start work on the build early next year.
